A sparkling wine from the Waipara region in North Canterbury. Using Albariño grapes in an undisgorged Pet Nat (Col Fundo) style. A pale silvery green colour in the glass. The perfume is delicate and has a distinctly ‘grape’ like opening. Lemon, pear, lime zest, white peach and fresh herbs. The bubbles are quite soft and mousse-like. A mixture of clean juiciness and a funky, salty drive makes for plenty of personality into the palate. Fresh and brimming with energy, it is a dry, refreshing and tightly coiled expression. 91pts
