A wine from Nelson at the top of the South island, NZ. A bright green-gold colour in the glass. Plush with a ripe fruit basket of golden apricot, quince and melon, plus a fresher edge of lime, grapefruit and satsuma. Add in a honeysuckle floral and it is quite the aromatic blast on the nose. Good concentration and weight to the palate, balanced with fresh acidity. A line of minerality emerges deeper into the palate, adding a more serious, stony edge that contrasts well with the lush juice. Finishes with good length and harmony. 92pts
