Made by David & Nadia Sadie from a range of vineyards with iron, schist and clay soils in Swartland, South Africa. Pale golden straw colour in the glass. A little shy on the nose, with pear, grapefruit, lemon peel, mandarin and just a touch of honey. Comes alive on the palate – bright, energetic and vibrant. A crystalline acidity drives through the palate. Very detailed and pure – no sign of oak, and the texture is creamy but quite simple, just cossetting the fruit and leaning into a dry, pithy finish. 93pts
