From Brauneberg in the Mosel valley in Germany, this Riesling is just 7.5% alc. A pale golden green in the glass, with voluptuous aromas of apricot, golden peach, ginger, mandarin and lime. Luxuriantly ripe on the palate, with an abundant fruit and honey sweetness. Sufficient freshness of acidity to add drive, but quite soft and silken. A notable earthy minerality develops, adding a savoury nip to the back of the palate. Quite a bit drier on the long finish too. 93pts
