Delta Estate ‘Identity Vineyard’ Dillons Point Sauvignon Blanc 2024

From the Delta ‘Distinction Series’ and the Identity Vineyard in the coastal area of the lower Wairau Valley in Marlborough. Winner of a Gold Medal at NZIWS in 2024. A pale green colour in the glass, with a vivid perfume that could only be Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Gooseberry, lemongrass, grapefruit, crushed green herbs, blackcurrant, pear and passionfruit on the nose and following through to the crisp, polished palate flavours. A riotous energy is accented by racy acid. Some savoury and mineral elements also blossom, with wet pebble, sea salt and cut grass notes adding depth. A fresh, mouth-watering finish has good length. 92pts
