A wine from the Raupo Vineyard in the Omaka Valley, Marlborough. A light golden-green colour in the glass. Scented with grapefruit, apple, peach and lemon peel, there is also a sizzle of toasty struck-match notes that add funk and character on the nose. Settling into a degree of elegance and balance into the palate, where there is fresh acidity, a hint of oak and plenty of mealy, creamy texture. A clean ‘cool’ feeling persists to the finish that has excellent length and harmony. 93pts
