A Waipara Valley wine, and winner of a coveted ‘Double Gold’ medal at NZIWS this year. Looking to Alsace for inspiration, there is still much to like from a NZ perspective in this juicy, very varietally-precise wine. The nose shows a perfume of pear, honeycomb and lychee, with some nectarine and apple aromas shining through. Rich and complex, with plenty of spice and herbal notes to back up those ripe fruit notes. Textural and generous through the palate and remains crisp and dry at the finish. 93pts
