From a vineyard named after the stud Jersey bulls who grazed the paddock where this vineyard is now planted in the Omaka Valley, Marlborough. A pale green-gold in the glass. Vibrant and densely aromatic, showing sliced pear, tinned pineapple juice, preserved lemon, white cherry, and nectarine on the nose. The palate is broad and generous – quite rich but cut with a saline acidity. Layers of spice, nougat, stonefruit and pepper flavours. A refreshing, dry finish with excellent persistence. 92pts
