An appellation Rully contrôlée wine from Burgundy. Nectarine, vanilla, apricot, fresh hay, white pepper, hazelnut, pear and tarragon on the nose. Rich and generous in the palate, with toasty oak notes framing the ripe golden fruit. Acidity is bright and quite brisk, delivering a saline bite and a decent line and direction. Layers of quince, lime marmalade and brioche. The finish has a chalky minerality. 91pts
