A blend of Grenache and Mourvedre, from cool Barossa kids Chaffey Bros. Smashable, chillable, delectable. We tried this from the fridge and it was like a rose with the most personality you ever had. A dark pink berry colour in the glass, with more berries, then jasmine, cola and pepper on the nose. Add in lots of whole-bunch spicy, stalky lift and perfume – and this is confoundingly good. Light to mid-weight but with a tightrope of juicy and savoury elements jostling for attention. Vibrant, well-rounded finish with decent length. 91pts
