Showing a deep shade of salmon pink, a little darker red at the edges in the glass. This is no shrinking violet – a rich nose shows plum, toffee apple, cinnamon, raspberry and honeysuckle floral aromas. More character through the palate with red berries, cassis, baking spice, caramel, honey and a mineral crushed-stone note. Great texture – oily and with an umami butteryness. Acidity is bright and the wine is balanced, as well as having real personality – if you prefer red wines to white, then this could be a rosé for you. Finishes long, with a nice sweet-sour contrast. 90pts
