Spy Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2021

From the excellent but low-yielding ’21 vintage, this Marlborough wine is a dazzling pale lemon yellow in the glass. Brimming with green and herbal aromas, fresh and vibrant. Pea pod, grapefruit, lime cordial, crushed chamomile, lemon peel and blackcurrant. A crisp acidity dances you through the palate flush with with a whole fruit bowl of citrus, tropical and stonefruit flavours. Clean, tight and varietally spot-on, this wine also features quite a rich and textural character to the back of the palate – following through to a long, refreshing finish. 92pts.
