Great balance – generous and deep, but youthful and vivacious – bright with acidity and fine, chalky tannins. Vanilla and spice from barrel influence. A brooding intensity to the smoky, dark, red fruit. Like the Syrah from Redstone, this shows a musky iron-earth graphite edge to the finish. 93pts
