Acidity and tannin are beautifully entwined here – brightness, flow, and silken elegance. Pure, concentrated palate with redcurrant, orange rind, bramble with anise, cloves and sumac spiciness. Another interplay is the ripe sweet fruit with a savoury, mineral element. A dark chocolate flavour, then salted butterscotch, and finally a mushroom, forest floor note. Oak is noticeable, with toasty wood lingering throughout, but overall it’s complex and with real harmony. 94pts.
