Very pale lemon yellow in the glass, with a restrained nose of jasmine, satsuma, melon, lemongrass and just a hint of petrol. Much bigger through the palate. Ripe, succulent and with a balanced acidity that sweeps along with the bold flavours of lime zest, lychee, nashi pear, ginger and fresh green herbs. Saline, crushed shell and with a tang of crème fraiche. An off-dry style that is lithe and jazzy through the layers, with a lower (9.5%) alcohol and freshness that is linear and mouth-watering. 91pts.
