Bright, lemon yellow in the glass, with a powerful nose filled with smoky, quartzy aromas, backed with nectarine, ginger, citrus and roast chestnut. Concentrated and full of tension, energy, driven by a spring of acidity that leads a dance across the palate.
Flavours of ripe stone fruit, fig, grapefruit, a delicate baking spice and hints of honey and oatmeal pile in layers as the wine opens up. An enveloping, silken texture gives the wine a fantastic ending, wrapping itself around your tastebuds and leaving you wanting another glass. Finishes long, dry and crisp. 93pts.
