A blend of Pinot Noir (held on skins for 6 hours) and Pinot Gris. A delightful pale pink salmon colour. Medium-light bodied and dry (although it does have around 5 grams of residual sugar). Bright aromas of raspberry, watermelon, bayleaf, red liquorice and a lift of lilac floral.
Sweet-fruited and vivacious on the palate with redcurrant, cherry and nectarine. Crisp, racy acidity and a slight savoury, mineral note – rosehip and lavender – as the lush texture swirls in. The finish is drying, pithy and quenching, as more floral notes reappear. 92pts. Excellent.
