Bald Hills ‘Last Light’ Riesling 2018

A single vineyard wine, from a hectare of vines that capture the last of the days sunlight. A bright, pale peachy-yellow colour in the glass; with piquant grapefruit, lychee, lemongrass, green apple and jasmine floral aromas. The medium weight palate is concentrated with flavours of mandarin, honey, fennel and ripe melon; all cut with a bracing acidity and a touch of mineral steeliness. A waxy texture – quite plush, and layered with a lemon meringue, honeyed sweetness to the long and generous finish. 90pts.
