A Central Otago Chardonnay from a single vineyard site in Lowburn. Light lemon-green in the glass, with fresh tropical aromas of pineapple, cherry blossom and brioche on the nose. An exhuberant palate of peach, lime peel, butterscotch, and mandarin; with a layered richness and concentration.
Fine acidity but well integrated with a dash of toasty caramel oak. A beautiful, mouth-filling creamy texture, comes with a sliver of salinity and oyster shell mineral to balance it. Hints of oatmeal and baked pear coming through on the mile-long finish.
