From 21 year old vines with a roughly even mix of Clone 15 & 95 from this renowned and highly regarded vineyard. 2019 was a warm vintage in Hawke’s Bay with higher than average growing degree days. Under screwcap. In the glass it presents as a medium gold colour, with aromas of nectarine and apricot stone. The palate is medium weight – the peach and nectarine flavours with an oak backbone reflecting both the 60% new oak but also the quality of the fruit.
