A Rosé from handpicked fruit from select vineyard blocks of The Landing’s vineyard on the Purerua Peninsula in the Bay of Islands. A pale coral pink colour in the glass. Scented with watermelon, strawberry, peach and cherry, with a delicate waft of hibiscus and rose petal on top. Dry, crisp and fresh. The palate has plenty of zesty acidity to drive the plush fruit and retain brightness and direction. A hint of peppery spice mid-palate, with fennel, jalapeno and pink peppercorn. An elegant, quite serious style that suits drinking now whilst we have some time around the summer lunch table. 92pts
