One of a range of Pinot Noirs made from the Estate vineyard in Bendigo, Central Otago, in a very good vintage. A deep garnet red colour, with very pretty and rousing aromas of black plum, cherry, strawberry, orange peel, clove, thyme, hazelnut and rose petals. Light on its feet, but with enough structure and underlying power to deliver a sensually textural palate brimming with ripe fruit and hints of savoury flavours. Zesty acidity keeps the palate on track, as a velvet texture creeps around the edges, and provides a soft pillow to the finish that has poise and presence. 92pts
