A Sauvignon Blanc from ‘The Golden Mile’ of the Rapaura sub-region in Marlborough. Very pale straw-green in the glass, with a vibrant bouquet, bursting with pineapple, passionfruit, greengage, grapefruit, woody herbs and lemon blossom. The palate is dry and prickling with a silvery spine of acidity, highlighting the sweet-fruited core. A lovely balance of acid and juice seems refined and is certainly well-rounded. The tension-filled palate carries flavours that reflect the perfume, progressing smoothly to a long finish. 92pts
