Rapaura Springs Rohe Dillons Point Sauvignon Blanc 2024

This family of wines from Rapaura Springs have had re-designed golden labels for the 2024 vintage. The word ‘ROHE’ means territory, and the range showcases Marlborough’s sub-regions. Dillon’s Point is located near the Marlborough coast, where the Wairau and Opaoa rivers meet. A translucent silvery green in the glass. No mistaking that this is Marlborough Sav once the cap is off. Leading with blackcurrant on the nose, and lime curd, passionfruit, lemon peel, mandarin follow swiftly behind, in an intense rush. Immediately ripe and sweet to taste, but when a swoop of salty acidity comes in there is a balanced energy and mouth-watering drive through the palate. White pepper, green herbs and talc merge as the fruit turns tropical and plush. The finish is long and juicy. 94pts
