This Pinot Blanc is grown at Mount Edward’s Morrison vineyard in Central Otago. A pale gold in the glass, with flashes of a silvery green at the edges. A piquant, quite restrained set of aromas, taking in pear, oyster shell, grapefruit, white peach, pepper and honeysuckle. A dry, lean and energetic style to the palate, the fruit crunchy and pithy. A zing of acidity carries the tastebuds into a silky texture waiting at the back of the palate, adding weight and body. The finish has real zip, with a good length and complexity – bringing the elements together very well. 92pts
