The only blend from this Alsace producer. A combination of Alsace varietals Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Blanc, Riesling and Sylvaner. A bright golden green colour in the glass. A good swirl unleashes the dazzling combination of aromas. A wine that is elegant and dry, but generous, rich and fresh all at once. Expect tangerine, lemon, lime, red apple, jalapeno, pear, incense and rose petal on the nose. It seems confoundingly dry, as the fruit is succulent and juicy, with a creamy textural quality and a broad body to the palate. Each component adds complexity and it all ‘just works’. The finish is quite minerally, with a dry salinity to it. 90pts
