Made from Gisborne grapes in the Eastland region of New Zealand. A bright green-straw colour in the glass. Perfumed with golden peach, grapefruit, kumquat and quince, there is also a generous hazelnut and nougat note on the nose. Medium to full-bodied, carrying some weight and buttery texture through the middle of the palate. Oak makes a mark, toasty and rich. Enough acidity to freshen up those fruit flavours towards citrus and green herbs, into a fresh, zesty finish. 89pts
