A single vineyard Pinot Noir from Terra Sancta’s 300m above sea-level Mysterious Diggings vineyard in Bannockburn. A translucent shade of garnet in the glass, with bright and perky aromatics of raspberry, clove, strawberry, red liquorice, cherry and orange peel. The palate is vibrant and juicy with a jube-like sweetness and ripeness. Spiced with pepper, sumac and star anise flavours. There is a creamy texture to the back of the palate that sits well with the balanced tannin and acidity, forming a silken cocoon around the fruit. The finish is drier and shows good length. Drinking well now and no need to cellar. 90pts
