Domaine Rewa is a biodynamic 5.5 hectare vineyard located in the foothills of the Pisa Range in Central Otago. A vivid dark burgundy colour in the glass. Fresh and juicy aromatics of black cherry, mushroom, olive, boysenberry and liquorice merge into crushed herbs and rose petal florals. Medium bodied and elegant into the palate, with a clean purity of plush fruit framed by oak and carried on a minerally acidity. All well integrated – rounded and velvetty. The tannins creep in and show a little grip and sinew. An ‘old world meets new world’ expression that is well crafted and shows a long finish of real finesse. 93pts
