From the multi-award-winning Twin Valleys vineyard of Peter and Ann Reed. A bright light straw yellow in the glass, with a lifted nose of rose petal, musk and a touch of dried herb. Off dry (about 7gl) and medium-full bodied with an opulence and lushness showing super ripe fruit elements of lychee, crystallised ginger and melon. Texturally rich and smooth, but has enough acidity to counter the honeyed core and not end up cloying or flabby. The finish is warming and drier, showing a hint of saline minerality. Great drinking at 5 years old, and a lovely example of the variety.
