A rosé from Pinot Noir in the Awatere Valley, Marlborough. Named after Eradus owners Hanna and Michiel’s daugher Sadie. A delightful pale raspberry colour in the glass. Perfumed with redcurrant, lemon peel, red liquorice, strawberry and rose petals. Dry, with crisp acidity and a nibble of apple-skin fruit tannin. Cranberry, apple and cherry flavours seep into the palate – quite elegant and restrained. A notable minerality to the finish – slatey and heading towards savoury. Intriguing stuff, quite more-ish. 90pts
