A single vineyard wine, from Shiraz grapes on their Eden Valley vineyard in the Barossa, South Australia. A vibrant pale coral pink in the glass. Bright and appetising, perfumed with cherry, raspberry, red apple, nectarine and lilac blossom. Light, juicy and with a crunch of red berries carried on an energetic acidity. A bit more depth and complexity develops over that sumptuous fruit, into notes of candy-apple, allspice, jasmine tea and fuzzy fruit tannins. The finish is balanced and piquant. Very polished and delicious – just the thing for an aperitif or lunchtime tipple. 90pts
