Daniel Brennan’s white blend in the Giunta range is a lively mix of Chenin Blanc, Viognier and Chardonnay. A late summer picnic-at-the-beach kind of vibe. White cherry, apricot, grapefruit, red apple and elderflower aromas on the nose. Quite floral and spicy with more stone fruit and melon in the juicy, rounded palate. Great acidity and just the tiniest hint of vanilla, barrel notes. A dash of savoury salinity emerges with fennel, green olive along with a nibble of fruit tannin. Both complex and refreshing – and easy to love. 91pts
