An organic wine from Alsace – the home of aromatic whites. Doesn’t disappoint on the nose, with a lifted, expressive perfume of mandarin, honey, fig, acacia and floral notes of jasmine and rose petal. Juicy and with a good dash of fruit sweetness on the palate, but a moderate acidity just keeps the balance on a tightrope of intensity and zestiness. Lychee, dried pineapple, peach and mango as well as some white pepper and ginger. Broad and waxy, but although with a lightness of touch, there is some power and length to the finish. 91pts
