A deep rosy maroon colour in the glass, with seductive aromatics of cherry, dried herb, blueberry, redcurrant and lilac florals on the nose. Lively, youthful and bursting with fleshy red fruit flavours alongside some toasted spices. Acidity lends a real brightness to this wine that is plush and full of charm. Soft, ripe tannins and a wisp of smoky oak make for a balanced, ready-to-drink Pinot showcasing the Marlborough region. 87pts.
