A Hawke’s bay wine – a pretty shade of salmon pink in the glass. Aromatic, with watermelon, raspberry, white peach, red liquorice and spring flowers on the nose. Fresh, vibrant acidity and a delicate silken texture to the palate. More red fruits and a distinctive strawberries and cream note comes to the fore. Dry, with good balance against the ripe, succulent plushness. A terrific food wine, and excellent value. 90pts.
