Pale lemon gold with a green tinge in the glass. Aromas of green apple, lime zest ginger and apricot. Juicy and tart on the palate, with tangerine, lychee, preserved lemon and salted caramel. A saline minerality adds attraction to the varietal fruit flavours, whilst there is a tension carried on the acid core. Feels a little unbalanced – to my tastes, just too much acid, and needs either the right food (to offset this), or time in the bottle to relax and integrate. Carries to a dry finish with the quartzy mineral showing itself again at the end. 87pts.
