ReviewsHoldaway Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2020 February 14, 2021February 14, 2021 - by David Walker Bell - Leave a Comment A Marlborough wine, from Dillons Point on the lower Wairau Plains, showing a rich nose of guava, green apple, grapefruit and lime zest. Fairly complex and concentrated. Juicy on the palate, with bright flavours of ripe passionfruit, nectarine, honeydew and blackcurrants. A medium acidity and a little savoury note showing as fennel, crunchy capsicum and an oyster shell minerality. Finishes with a saline nip and some elegance. 92pts. Classic varietal style, and another great 2020 wine.
