From Nelson – mostly Mendoza clones in the Moutere Hills. A lovely bright wine, green-gold in the glass. Lifted aromas of peach, pineapple, pear and spring florals. Medium bodied but rich palate of ripe stonefruits and a spicy vanilla and burnt butter notes.
A lively, fresh acidity and tasting very clean and balanced. A little oak nuttiness, and more nougat-like sweetness and then a dash of citrus pith towards the finish. 91pts
