A bright pale green-yellow in the glass. Hugely aromatic – lots of kerosene, lime zest and white flowers on the nose. Juicy fruits in a vibrant palette – red apple, grapefruit and lemon marmalade, balanced with a moderate acidity.
Lovely harmony and poise to this – with just a hint of toasty, marshmallow and popcorn bottle-age starting to develop – this 2013 is still current vintage. A wet-stone minerality to a pithy, drying finish. 92pts. Very good, and great value
