From the well known Central Otago vineyard on Felton Road with 100% organic and biodynamic farmed fruit. Block 1 is a north-facing slope in The Elms vineyard and has a deep silt loams soil profile. Sealed under screwcap. In the glass this shows as medium gold in colour. Aromas of citrus, honey & caramelised sugar. A rich, viscous mouth feel with medium sweetness (73g/L RS) and flavours of crème brûlée along with a hint of spice on the finish. Drinking very well now and about to move into tertiary phase. 93pts
