The aromas show good varietal typicity – you know this is Syrah by the damson plum, blackberry and boysenberry fruits, accented with black pepper, olive and violet florals. Full-bodied and ripe, with the generous fruit taking centre stage, just framed with spicy oak. That spiciness develops alongside the juice, with clove, cinnamon and star anise flavours emerging.
