A pale gold in the glass. The scent carries ripe, fresh flavours of lime, nectarine, green apple, almond, cardamom, tarragon, mandarin, vanilla nougat and wood smoke. Decent weight into the palate, with a plushness to the fruits that is cut by a zesty acidity. This gives line and direction, whilst a fine swathe of satin texture adds polish. The spice showing on the nose returns, with a lick of toasty oak to round things out. Well-balanced and with a good length. 92pts
