A white wine from Martinborough, using hand picked fruit from Drummond Farm. A light gold colour in the glass. Distinctively Sauvignon on the nose, with passionfruit, lemongrass, white peach, blackcurrant and lime peel, with just a hint of baking spice and chestnut as top notes. Dry, clean and zesty into the broad palate. Crisp acidity gives bags of fresh energy. A minerality shows regional typicity, with a chalky, wet stone element to the side; before a smooth texture coats the back of the palate. Refreshing and characterful, with a decent carry on the finish. 92pts
