A wine from selected sites in Marlborough, made from a blend of Pinot Noir and Malbec grapes. A very pale watermelon pink colour in the glass. Plenty of citrus – pink grapefruit and orange peel – mixes into the red berries that deliver the perfume. Quite dry and elegant, the palate adds some spice to the ripe raspberry and redcurrant notes. The crisp acidity and the minerality add up to a complex but tight and serious style. There’s both savoury and sweetness as you arrive at the finish. 92pts
