From the Marlborough Méthode Traditionelle specialists – using the processes from their Champagne-making family in France learnt over the last 12 generations. Using Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier in this brut style blend – aged on lees for three years. A delicate pale straw in the glass, with just a tinge of pink to the edges. A lively fine mousse of bubbles, and an equally serious and complex nose. Peach, hazelnut, marmite and pear, with a fresh breadcrumb note and lemon blossom floral lift. Crisp, dry and fruity, with a tight structure. Delicious minerally and quite a textural back to the palate, with some weight and a waxy, satin white chocolate feel. The finish is super… long and succulent. 94pts
