Crisp, bountiful aromatics of grapefruit, vanilla, lemon zest, brioche, white pepper, nectarine and chestnut. A tension-filled palate is tight yet plush, and has both a richness and power that is complex and intriguing – drawing you in. The acidity is saline, juicy and with the ripe fruit and an oyster-shell, creme fraiche minerality, there’s an artful, tightrope balance throughout. Finishes pithy, precise and long. 93pts
