Winner of the Champion Sauvignon Blanc Trophy at our newest wine show – the National Wine Awards of Aotearoa New Zealand this year. A wine from their Seaview Vineyard in the Awatere Valley, with those classic green notes of capsicum, sorrel, jalapeno, lemongrass and cucumber on the nose. The palate is vibrant and intense, with some tropical flavours amongst the blackcurrant, gooseberry and lime zest. A bracing, saline acidity underlines those concentrated fruit and herb notes. A power-packed wine that pulls no punches. A long, mineral-laden finish completes a well-rounded package. 93pts*
