Crisp and light, a pale straw colour in the glass. Shows plenty of green – granny smith apple, bergamot, pear and lime, along with the chalky minerality that is the classic character of Chablis. There is delicate floral note of cherry blossom and acacia on the nose as well. Takes a richer turn into the palate, with a creamy hazelnut butteriness amid a pile of that oyster shell stone element. Citrus starts to dominate as the pin-point acidity takes you through the tightly structured palate. Dry, with a lovely tension and mealy phenolics towards the finish, showing good persistence of flavour. 92pts
