From a couple of vineyards in the Bridge Pa and Gimblett Gravels sub-regions of Hawke’s bay. A bright pale gold in the glass, with equaly bright aromatics of nectarine, muesli, apple, wood smoke, and oyster shell minerality on the nose. Showing crisp acidity and an agile touch into the palate, where some more concentrated, tropical flavours build quickly. Apricot and dried pineapple contrast with some greener, herbal notes in layers of complexity. A nougat, brioche flavour sits amongst a toasted oatmeal texture, yurning creamy and plush as the finish kicks in, persistant and mouth-watering. 92pts
